Hello! My name is Kate Shelton, and I am a young artist. I am a senior in high school, taking AP 2D Art. I am a Colorado native, born and raised; I love nature and the beauty the world organically has! I love reading and watching stories, escaping into fantasies and fake worlds!

I have always loved art and storytelling; they are ways to affect people, even when I have never met them. Leaving a lasting impact or impression on many people through stories, whether it be through visual art or writing, creating things for people to analyze and dissect to find meanings that relate to themselves, even if they have entirely different backgrounds from me, has always been my life's calling.

I am going to attend an Art & Design College in the fall, double-majoring in 3D Animation and Film Making with a minor in Creative Writing.

I plan to become a Pixar animator and an author on the side. I would also love to become a film dicector, spesififcally movie adaptations of books, espessaly the ones I’ve read in school!
