Pearlecent Bowl

This was for my beginning ceramics class, my junior year. We were to wheel-throw a bowl and trim it once it had dried a little. Once the bisque was fired, we were instructed to create a design using painter's type and to choose two different glazes to achieve a ‘dunking’ effect.

I wanted to create a ramen against bowl, often making bowls when I attempted to make vases due to the learning curve of wheel-throwing clay.
